30 TDI V6 CAPA engine (confirmed on boot sticker) which from all sources is 6.9 litres. Propped her up on the ramps and drained the sump as much as possible, drained 7.5 litres out of it. Replaced sump plug with new washer, added 6.5 litres so as not to overfill as it was on ramps and not level.

Iam seeing oil temps as high as 228F on the highway. my next 2 options are. #1 Motul's 106377 8100 X-Clean + 5W30. #2 Scheffer's 8008 Advanced European Performance Mid SAPS 5W-30. Any thoughts on the 3 oils Amsoil , Motul and Scheffer. Thanks in advance I temp burn off Is what I worry about at most.
