When you fire up Diablo, connect the second controller and log in with the PSN or Xbox account you just linked to your Blizzard account. D2 was one of her all time favorite games, so when she heard it was coming to Xbox, we both got excited. Excited enough that when we were disappointed to learn it didn't have couch co op, we borrowed a friends xbox, found a computer monitor, bought another copy of the game, and are now paying for 2 Game Passes.
Yes it does, but you gotta play with two controllers. I have 200+ hours strictly of couch co op, it's so much fun. The in person interactions just ties everything together perfectly.
